Renaturation and green infrastructure specialist
At Khora we believe that cities are key to face the great contemporary challenges and that urban renaturalization is a necessary lever to carry out the necessary transformations. We are looking for someone who shares this vision and wants to contribute to the implementation of high environmental impact interventions in Spanish cities.
We are looking for a profile with experience -between three and five years- in the design and management of urban renaturation projects for the public sector. Participation in projects subsidized with European or national funds in Spain will be especially valued.
What will you do with us
- You will join a team that addresses the complexity of urban challenges from a multidimensional perspective, bringing your skills in renaturalization and nature-based solutions.
- You will participate in the monitoring and evaluation of renaturalization projects and contribute to the measurement of impact indicators.
- You will join a team designing green and blue infrastructure projects for Spanish cities and drafting technical documents in accordance with current regulations for approval by municipal teams.
- You will contribute to the design of proposals and the identification of funding opportunities in renaturation for European and national calls.
- You will support the implementation, monitoring and justification of funded projects, participating in technical meetings with clients and beneficiary entities.

What you need for this position
- Education: university degree in Architecture, Public Works Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Biology, Forestry Engineering, Forestry Engineering or similar. Specialized studies in urban development, territorial planning or management of European funds will be an asset.
- Experience: three to five years of experience in proposal writing and urban renaturation projects, preferably financed with public funds (ERDF, PRTR, Fundación Biodiversidad, LIFE, Horizonte Europa).
- Languages: English level equivalent to B2. Part of the work is developed in this language.
- Technical skills: advanced use of office tools and high knowledge in GIS. The use of design tools such as Figma, InDesign or Illustrator will be an asset.
- Personal competencies: clear and structured technical writing skills; autonomy and initiative combined with the ability to work collaboratively; genuine interest in urban issues; ability to adapt to changing environments and diverse dynamics.
