Advice, definition and support to build an integrated, competitive and sustainable Arguineguín

The Mogán Arguineguín Integrated Sustainable Urban Development Strategy (EDUSI), selected in the first call of the POCS FEDER 2014-2020, seeked to transform Arguineguín into an integrated, competitive and sustainable town through the implementation of various urban development projects. 

THE CHALLENGE 

The urban challenges of Arguineguín, in the Gran Canarian municipality of Mogán, are economic, social and environmental, and require integrated solutions to improve the quality of life and sustainable development of the town. These challenges must be effectively addressed to revitalize the area and unlock its development potential. 

THE SOLUTION 

We collaborated with the City Council of Mogán in the launch and execution of the projects associated with the EDUSI, providing advice on compliance with European regulations, monitoring information and publicity obligations, and supporting administrative and financial management. We also contributed to the definition of monitoring procedures and participation in networks. This support has led to Mogán being recognized by the Managing Authority as one of the most effective cities in the implementation of its strategy.
