Comprehensive accompaniment in Ayamonte’s urban opening process toward the river

The Integrated Sustainable Urban Development Strategy (EDUSI) Ayamonte Mira al Río, selected in the second call of the POCS FEDER 2014-2020, seeked to transform the city through initiatives focused on mobility, energy efficiency, green spaces, tourism, commerce and education. 

THE CHALLENGE 

The strategy addresses multiple urban challenges in Ayamonte, including the need to improve public administration through ICT, revitalize urban mobility, enhance energy efficiency, restore green spaces and address seasonal unemployment and social exclusion. A significant part of the project involved the revitalization of the river promenade along the Guadiana River. However, the City Council sought support for efficient project management and execution from a company with expertise in local administration and urban planning.  

THE SOLUTION 

We supported the Ayamonte City Council in the preparation, monitoring, controlling and evaluation of the projects associated with the EDUSI, covering everything from proposing projects across municipal departments to presenting them to the Intermediate Management Body for approval and execution. Ensuring that each initiative complied with the strategic objectives of the city and certifying the projects with guarantees.
